Dear
Marty,
Just want to tell you how much I - especially of late - enjoy reading
items on your website.
In mid-June I read the articles by Earl Jagust and wrote to him, reconnecting
58 years after I took his journalism class. We had a lovely evening together
in Manhattan at the end of July, just before I returned home to Sweden
(where I've lived since early 1972).
It was very interesting to read now about the (excellent) article in The
Chat that caused him to lose his advisor post to the newspaper (whose
business manager I once was).
In this new issue, I really enjoyed reading about Sara Pinkus, and seeing
some of her wonderful art work. My sister Grace (FRHS 1953) took art lessons
from her as a child. Grace passed away last month after over a quarter
century's battle with cancer - I'm attaching an article about Grace.
Keep up the good work!
Ellis Wohlner

a graduate of Far Rockaway High School, class of 1953. Among her many
achievements, Ms. Weinstein was a most prolific and accomplished writer
specializing in the field of financial management. She was the past president
(1979 - 1981) of the American Society of Journalists and Authors.
