This is a fabulous web site! Please allow me to correct an error in Section 3, postcard 8. The postcard locates the home shown in the photo as at the corner of Bay View and Healy Avenue, and the text indicates that these names have been changed to Faber Terrace and Beach 25th. The actual location of this home, which still exists, is at the corner of Healy Ave. and Bay 25th Street. I am certain about this as I live a block away!

My parents brought me to the Rockaways for summers when I was a small girl. After I married I lived on Nielson Ave. and later moved to Bayswater from 1957 - 1975 I worked at the Hebrew Kindergarten and Children's home from 1952-54. I later taught at PS 114 in Rockaway Park from 1966 -1978. These postcards and your narrative are amazing. How the memories flood back! Thank you.

Thanks Dean. I knew Greg well. One of the best to ever throw and catch a football. Honed our skills playing pick-up games on the beach and inspired us with his leadership and generosity. Nice bio.
