I just browsed the FRHS yearbooks of people within 5 years of my age in either direction. I grew up in Far Rockaway and still live there but I went to High School and University in Manhattan. These photos helped me recall so many people from childhood, many of whom are now my friends on Facebook.

So many memories of FRHS in 1970-seems like a lifetime ago, but when I see those familiar faces it brings me right back-Great job on the website- shout out to friend Dean Georges for the amazing postcards of Rockaway- I have returned after 30 married years in Brooklyn-it's great to be back!

It always makes me feel good to look at photos of Far Rockaway and remember the wonderful, and not so wonderful times of the past. Thank you.

This was great. I moved to Charlotte NC in 1996 and lost touch with my old Rockaway friends. Lesser, Katz, Wirth, Goldwasser, Kornfield. If you are out there email and visit. I am rich now!

enjoyed the visit as this was my first time--after returning from my stint during the Vietnam War my first desire was to visit FR and cried during the entire visit--really a change not to the better
