Nicola Chuilli ...Gardner lived on Bch 121st Street in 1930 ...... In 1940 he and his Brothers are living at 435 Bch 129th Street........ He arrived NY in 1913..... All 3 Brothers are listed as Gardeners...

this is a great site that brings back many memories. i lived in farrockaway from about 1960 - 1975, went to ps 104, jhs 180 & farrockaway hs. i cannot believe how many people and friends i have run into living in coral springs, fl. that went to farrockaway hs. there are even hs re-unions here. please send me an email if you remember me.

j am nicola chiulli md, from italy. my grandfather, nicola chiulli, lived in rockaway park, from 1929 to 1941 in 129 beach street n 435; his friends were chiulli alphonse, chiulli joseph , chiulli frank .he died in 1941 in rockaway beach hospital.he was a gardener. never j knowed him.
j would be very happy if someone could me informations about him.
what is now where old rockaway beach hospital was?

My thoughts and good wishes go out to all of my neighbors in the Rockaways and in Broad Channel as we try to recover from the catastrophic effects of Hurricane Sandy.
Thank you to all the volunteers who have come out to help in countless ways. I know that I will never forget all of the acts of kindness I have witnessed during this very sad time.
