McNulty's, Fitzgerald's and the White House were our stomping grounds. I remember doing the "savoy" with Peter Murray at McNulty's.

Great site, many memories.

I have only treasured memories of the return every summer of the McHuges, McHales, O'Neills, Flynns, etc. and the friends I never forgot. On saturday nights the fiddle and squeeze box would be playing and the dancing would begin. My father was always afraid the wooden porch would cave in. The Lady in Red coming in the court to sing for nickles and dimes. Climbing the roofs of all the vacant bungelows in the winter. Who remembers Croft Rd., the steel tower & pill box, the K of C, Leo's Colony Drug Store, Brindles and Sullivans Bar all on 106 St.Beach block

First this is a well done site you can see that many hours have gone into its development.
I did travel on the Subway form 123rd St in Manhattan to Rockaway many times
and back again with a sunburn.
Those were fine days
